Troubleshooting sync issues
Data not syncing
Check these first:
- Device has battery power
- Kivly app is updated
- Wearable device app is updated
- Internet connection is stable
- Permissions weren't revoked
Force a sync:
- Open wearable device app
- Ensure latest data is there
- Open Kivly app
- Go to Connected Devices
- Tap Sync Now on the device
Duplicate data appearing
If activities show twice:
- Check which devices are connected
- Disconnect redundant sources
- Contact support to clean duplicates
Prevention:
- Connect primary device only
- Use platform integrations (Apple Health, Google Fit) instead of individual devices
- Disable auto-tracking in Kivly if wearable handles it
Missing sleep data
Common causes:
- Sleep tracking not enabled on wearable
- Permissions for sleep not granted
- Wearable didn't detect sleep
- Sync happened before morning update
Solutions:
- Check wearable's native app for sleep data
- Verify sleep permissions in Kivly
- Manually add sleep if data is incorrect
- Contact support if chronic issue
Heart rate not showing
Verify:
- Wearable tracks heart rate (not all do)
- Heart rate permission granted to Kivly
- Wearable worn properly for tracking
- Recent sync completed
