Customizing your app preferences

Make Kivly truly yours by customizing settings, notifications, appearance, and activity preferences.

Accessing preferences

Mobile app: Profile icon → Settings → Preferences

Web app: Account menu → Settings → Preferences

Appearance settings

Theme

  • Light mode - Traditional bright interface
  • Dark mode - Easier on eyes, great for evening
  • Auto - Switches based on time of day

Color accent

Choose your accent color:

  • Liven Green (default Kivly brand)
  • Calming Blue
  • Energizing Orange
  • Peaceful Purple
  • Natural Earth tones

Text size

  • Small
  • Medium (default)
  • Large
  • Extra Large

Accessibility note: Pairs with device accessibility settings for maximum readability.

Dashboard layout

  • Compact - More content visible
  • Comfortable (default) - Balanced spacing
  • Spacious - Maximum readability

Notification preferences

Activity reminders

Daily wellness nudge:

  • Time: Choose your preferred reminder time
  • Days: Select which days (weekdays, weekends, daily)
  • Message style: Motivational, factual, or minimal

Goal reminders:

  • Enable/disable per goal
  • Timing: Morning, midday, evening, or custom
  • Frequency: Daily, every other day, weekly

Streak protection:

  • Alert when streak is at risk
  • Timing: 2 hours before midnight
  • Enable: Yes/No

Social & community

Community activity:

  • New responses to your posts
  • Someone follows you
  • Tagged in a post
  • Group challenge updates
