Getting started on mobile vs web

Getting started on mobile

Installation

iPhone/iPad:

  1. Open App Store
  2. Search "Kivly Wellness"
  3. Tap Get then Install
  4. Open Kivly app
  5. Sign in or create account

Android:

  1. Open Google Play Store
  2. Search "Kivly Wellness"
  3. Tap Install
  4. Open app
  5. Sign in or create account

First-time setup

  1. Grant permissions:

    • Notifications - For reminders and updates
    • Health data - Connect Apple Health/Google Fit
    • Camera - For visual journaling (optional)
    • Location - For outdoor activities (optional)
  2. Complete profile:

    • Basic information
    • Wellness goals
    • Assessment
    • Preferences
  3. Enable biometric login: Settings → Security → Face ID/Touch ID/Fingerprint

  4. Set up home screen widget:

    • Long-press home screen
    • Add widget
    • Choose Kivly
    • Select widget size (small, medium, large)

Installing as Progressive Web App (PWA)

Chrome/Edge (Desktop):

  1. Visit app.kivly.org
  2. Look for install icon in address bar
  3. Click Install Kivly
  4. App opens in standalone window
  5. Accessible like native app

Safari (Mac):

  1. Visit app.kivly.org
  2. File → Add to Dock
  3. Name the shortcut
  4. Click Add
